CT Woman Driving Wrong Way On Busy Roadway Nabbed For DUI, State Police Say

A 36-year-old woman was charged after police said she drove the wrong way on a Connecticut highway while intoxicated.

She was arrested in New Haven County at about 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, according to Connecticut State Police.

Hartford County resident Natalia Moreno, of Manchester, was seen driving the wrong way on Route 15 in North Haven, traveling south in the northbound lanes, state police reported.

Police pulled Moreno over and administered standardized field sobriety tests, which she failed, authorities said.

Moreno was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving the wrong way on a divided highway, police reported. 

Moreno was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is set to appear in court on Monday, April 25, police said.
